Care Worker — Help someone live well at home

Locations: Scunthorpe, Bottesford, Ashby, Messingham, Broughton and Kirton

Pay: £12.71-£13.77 -> Contract: full time / part time

Good care is not just a list of tasks. It is arriving when someone is expecting you, noticing when something has changed, protecting their dignity and helping them feel safe in their own home.

Goodwin Healthcare is recruiting Care Workers across our North Lincolnshire home-care branch. You will follow each person’s care plan and provide reliable, respectful support during planned care calls.

What you will do

• Support with personal care while protecting privacy, choice and dignity.

• Prompt, assist or administer medication once trained and assessed as competent.

• Support meals, hydration, mobility and everyday routines.

• Notice and report changes, concerns, medication issues or safeguarding risks promptly.

• Use our care app to start and finish calls, complete tasks and write clear, factual care notes.

• Build trusted relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.

This role will suit you if

• You are dependable, calm and genuinely respectful of other people.

• You can work independently and communicate well with people, families and colleagues.

• You understand that care calls are time-specific and that people rely on you.

• You are willing to complete training, observations and competency assessments.

• You will ideally have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, although this is not essential.
