Home Care Frailty and Prevention Training
The community therapy team from NLAG has developed a free training package aimed at supporting the management of frail, elderly people and reducing the impact that the consequences of frailty has on their lives. The training is aimed at everyone that works with this group of people and is designed to give tips of how to prevent deterioration and details of who to contact for more advice or support if needed.
The training can be offered within your own setting at a mutually convenient date and time and typically takes around 90 minutes to complete.

Northern Lincolnshire Suicide Prevention Conference -13th September 2023
Please find attached, at the top of this email, conference details and safeTALK training which are being promoted as part of World Suicide Prevention Day 2023.
Sunday 10th September, 2023 is World Suicide Prevention Day and the theme this year is ‘Creating Hope Through Action’ .The aim is to explore how individual and collective actions, however big or small, can create hope for ourselves and for others, leading to a world where fewer people die by suicide.
North Lincolnshire Council are raising awareness by hosting a Northern Lincolnshire Suicide Prevention Conference on the 13th of September at Baths Hall the aim of the conference is to develop approaches and actions to reduce the prevalence and impact of suicides.
Suicide prevention is everyone’s business; only through working together will we reduce suicide and the impacts of such.
The conference will bring together people with an interest in suicide prevention who have a role to play in reducing both the number and the impact of suicide across a wide of sectors including the private, public, and voluntary sector to learn, share and network.
