Support with childcare

Funded childcare with North Lincs Council

North Lincolnshire Council have committed to providing funded childcare by paying the childcare fees for new and continuing employees, employed with a regulated Care at Home Provider in North Lincolnshire. It is also for any existing employees working for a regulated Care Home provider, who were accessing Proud to Care Funded Childcare prior to April 2024. The Funded Childcare scheme has been extended up to and including 31 March 2025.

What is the Funded Childcare Scheme?

The Funded Childcare Scheme will support parents into employment as Care Workers by removing barriers to work, funding deposits and initial childcare costs whilst other sources of financial support are secured. Childcare costs will be paid directly to the childcare setting at their standard daily/hourly rates.

Am I eligible for the scheme?

How do I apply for funded childcare?

Care Workers will identify their preferred Ofsted registered childcare provider(s) for the child/children and place a booking for their child/children.

For support in finding suitable childcare, parents can call the Early Years Team on 01724 298298.

Care Workers will then advise their chosen childcare setting that they are eligible for funding and the childcare setting will contact Proud to Care Childcare to enrol on the scheme.
